Finally!

Keith finally caught just how big Owen smiles!

Happy 12 Weeks Owen

Enjoying the patio last Sunday
 He's such a happy boy....and spoiled!
 Hanging out with dad.
 Watching Brock play cars.
 Enjoying a bath
Sleeping the night away on the couch.

Owen's doing great on my dairy free diet, we are still on a 70-30 ratio for breastfeeding. He is breastfed 70% of the time. He is sleeping all night still, which is really great! Still continues to eat often during the day. Owen celebrated his 12 week birthday at the camper and sat on the beach all day! He is growing so fast!

Back at the camper, and by FAR one of my favorite shots of Owen!

So on Thursday afternoon we headed to the beach/camper. The kids did great on the way to the camper about 4 hours total in the car. Upon arriving at the campground we discovered the refrigerator wasn't working. We decided it's late, we'll deal with it in the am. In the am, we discovered it was completely shot and well we'll continue to ice the cooler and move forward. We put the call into Nana and Pap and they call the Rv Doctor and we put it to rest.....or so we thought. We did a little camper maintenance/opening up since Pap was just in the hospital we thought it would be a help to him to get the blinds, roof, and carpet down in the porch. Afterwards, we proceed to the beach, Owen slept for most of the trip and then we did our typical trip to Crabby Dicks for dinner, again Owen slept through it. Saturday, we woke, headed for the store, came home and went to the pool. Owen was NOT a fan! We discovered the cooler Owen was the happier he was! On Sunday, we decide we are going to head to the beach, come home, go crabbing, bed, Monday, go to outlets and boardwalk. Well, while at the beach, we get a call from my Aunts saying Nan and Pap's camper is on fire. Yes, fire. In a panicked hurry, we scurry off the beach and head back to the campground, where we discover the refrigerator was the source of the fire and we could no longer turn the electric or gas back on so we were homeless!  Thankfully, Maddie and Brandon gave up Grandma Chrissy's camper and went and stayed with my parents and we stayed at Grandma's! We proceeded with our original plans and ended up having a great time! Owen experienced many firsts, beach, pool, camping, campfire, house fire, boardwalk. We will be heading back in one month over the 4th of July!

Happy 11 Weeks Owen!

My smiley baby
The boy probably thinks I'm crazy!
 Owen was passed out!
Hanging out one morning before school.
Smiling again, I am trying to capture the big smiles he does!
Owen in his bouncer chair. Look how long he is!
 Small smile
 Love him dearly

So 11 weeks it is! Owen is now classified as a big boy....HE SLEEPS ALL NIGHT! Yes he does, about 10-10:30-6:00 AM. Owen also seems to be happier! I've been dairy free for 9 days and he seems much better, fingers crossed. Owen has also began to travel, he wakes up about 1-2 feet from where we placed him in his crib. Sometimes he has little feet poking through the sides, or a hand, or his poor little head jammed tightly against the side. Owen loves his fingers, clearly shown 2 posts ago! He has continued to learn to coo, small laughs, and focusing on anything remotely busy. He adores Keith, Brock, and myself. He does seem to get fussy if we have a big day, I'm assuming the passing back and forth. We had a quiet week this week which was much needed busy weekend. No visitors at all!

Happy 10 Weeks Owen!

Owen loves his fingers....
 Any one will do,
 But they don't always cooperate!
 Owen sleeping peacefully!
 Brotherly love.....for now!

Here we are at the beginning of a new week, 10 weeks! Owen celebrated this past week Big Brother Brock's birthday party, Sunday at the bowling alley! We've had another rough week with Owen's great grandfather, Pap- (Pap Isaac, my dad's dad) is in ICU so we have gone over to the hospital, let me rephrase that, myself and Keith have gone to the hospital, I won't let Owen anywhere near the place! So Owen and Brock stayed with Mamaw Becki and the next night with Aunt Maddie and Uncle Brandon. Evidently Aunt Maddie and Uncle Brandon treated Brock to some ice cream while I was gone! That's what Aunts and Uncles are for! We finished out the week with a tournament for tball. As always busy, busy, busy, but that's how I prefer to stay!

Keith did take Owen back to the pediatrician on Wednesday.....we had entered day 3 of non stop crying and we were just at a loss. The pediatrician has said he thinks it is MY dairy consumption and OWEN'S inability to break down the protein in the milk. THIS DOES NOT MAKE HIM LACTOSE INTOLERANT. He tolerates the lactose fine, it's the protein! So dairy free for me, this makes me sad! However, not sad enough to put him on formula! We do have a new formula for supplementing called Nutramigen, it's very expensive....28 dollars. I almost threw up when I paid that bill. Even worse, Owen won't drink it, so we either don't supplement, or supplement with a milk based formula. I hope to see an improvement soon. I will say his little poops have changed colors to what they should be...I hope that's a good sign!

Owen was 10 pounds 12 ounces at his check up! Keith did a fabulous job transporting him back and forth!

Happy 9 weeks Owen!

Playing with his baby gym
Notice the tablet in the corner, yes Owen doesn't sleep without it!
 Out cold!
 Taking a nap

Owen's 9 weeks old, this past week we went to Maddie's bridal shower, Brock's games, celebrated my birthday, and that is about it! Owen spent a lot of time outdoors this week, we finally got our garden planted! Also I had mulch delivered and have been working on that. I almost forgot Uncle Brandon and Aunt Maddie came for dinner on Thursday and we went to Dairy Queen. Owen had his check up this week and spent the end of the week fussy from his immunizations!

Happy 2 Months~

It was a bit chilly this morning!

 Looking at mom!

One month old, not much change! Just longer it seems!

2 months old Owen, you are growing up!
Owen went to the pediatrician 5/3/12 here are his stats...
~10 pounds 10 oz 20 percentile
~23 1/2 inches long 95th percentile
unsure on head circumfrence

Owen got shots, he did NOT cry during but the next day he was miserable!!

Owen loves to eat, nurse, and be held. He does NOT like to be disturbed! He loves the bath, shower, infant tub, or just listening to water run. He is beginning to sleep through the night, which makes us happy! He is on a 70-30 breastfeeding to formula ratio. He is proving to be just like Keith with his make up as far as weight and length! Owen is smiling, beginning to talk, rolling both directions, and loves to focus on things and people. He still loves his belly but has been on his back more....(Dr. Baker yelled at Me) Owen is adored by all who meet him and is such a pleasure!
