Appt update
We had our follow up appt on Monday. To say the least I am frustrated. I feel like nothing is going right and I am just miserable. My high blood sugars are making me throw up which when added to an already nauseated belly is really hard to deal with. They did tell me weight is the least of my concerns right now and my main concern is stabalizing my blood sugar. So I am going to meet with a dietician and I have been googling gestational diabetes diets. On a brighter note, my gall bladder was A OK!

Blood Sugar Update
I've tested my blood sugar all week and called Pam with the results on Friday like she asked. Based on
my readings she scheduled me for an emergency visit this Monday. She tried to make it for yesterday, but as most of you know, it was Christmas with our families at our house. We had my mom's side of the family and Keith's family here for Christmas dinner and gift exchange, I was not parting with my favorite time of year! In an event, what they are asking for is my fasting blood sugar to be between 70-90 and after meals under 120. My fasting blood sugars range from 85-95 and after meals range from 125-155. Yeah, high! So I have a feeling we may be getting insulin, which I am not happy about. Also, while eating dessert with our families last night, my mother and I were talking......EVERY female on my mom's side of the family has had their gall bladder out with the main symptom being vomiting.....who knew? I am now thinking it is a possibility something is wrong with my gall bladder. Since me and vomiting have a very strong relationship! We go Monday at 8:00 AM for an ultrasound to check it out. I'll update further on Monday.

29 Week Appt
To set the scene of the fabulous Monday I had I must go back to Sunday. Sunday, after all of our running around and finishing up some Christmas shopping I had an urge to eat at El Rodeo. Keith being the meat and potatoe type of guy that he is sort of objected but thought she's pregnant, I'll give it world. Well, my meal came went down with success, Keith's meal was "okay" and we proceeded home. Mind you this was 4:30 PM Sunday. So we settle down that evening to head to bed and I say I'm not feeling well, I take a Zofran and off to bed we go. I woke at 1:15 AM vomiting so violently all of Sunday's dinner. I finally get myself situated and head back to bed only to be extremely crampy in my stomach. We wake at 5:40 for Keith to head to work and myself to my 8:00 AM fasting 3 hour glucose test, only to discuss with each other neither of us feels well. Needless to say, we are pretty confident something wasn't done right at El Rodeo, as we both had a yucky stomach thing going on and visited the bathroom all throughout Monday.
As for me, I left Keith's work proceed to my appt and I go in get my blood sugar tested only to discover my fasting blood sugar was extremely high and they almost tried to cancel the test. I urge them to proceed as I am already there and do not feel like driving back home, they call my Dr and move forward with the fasting blood draw. Now the order of events was to be blood sugar check, fasting blood draw, drink glucose, wait an hour from drinking glucose draw blood, wait 2 hours draw blood, and finally wait 3 hours draw blood. Backing up, I had the fasting blood drawn. I drank the glucose drink and I proceed to the waiting area. 45 minutes into my test I begin to vomit. Due to my vomiting, my test at that point was canceled due to them not knowing how much glucose drank came up and how much stayed down they said sorry it's over. I then left, went to Keith's parents, continued to puke my guts out, slept for 2 1/2 hours and then headed back for my appt.
We check in at my appt with our usual weight check first, I'm down a pound. We go in, I use the restroom, I come in the exam room only to find the nurse waiting on me to discuss my fasting blood sugar level. She indicates it was far too high and I must now test my blood sugar 4 times daily call her on Friday with results, and go from there. She leaves, Dr. Jurus comes in and discusses the same thing with me on why and how we got to this point and what he thinks should happen, what could happen, and what we will do if said happens. He measured my uterus and listened to baby's heartbeat and brought in Dr. Curtain. Dr. Curtain discusses the same blood sugar issues and also my lack of weight gain issues and thinks I should meet with a nutrionist and also wants me to have my liver and gall bladder checked as some of these issues should be resolved by now and they are and he wants to further investigate. I personally think my liver and gall bladder are just fine, but I will have the test to suit him. They indicated I will return in 1 week to discuss blood sugar results, weight check, and we will discuss when we check on baby to make sure he/she is not growing too large. So all in all, today was horrible, it feels like nothing is going right, I feel miserable, and now on top of a weekly injection I must prick myself 4 times daily. I said to Keith on the way home, I know I'm grumpy and I think I may stay that way for a day or two until I realize which I do know already and I am thankful for, that I am pregnant, I am growing a very healthy baby, and there is a lot of women who would love to be in my shoes.
Here are my stats:
Belly: Two weeks ago measuring right at 26 1/2 weeks, this week I am 28 1/2 weeks, belly is measuring 29.5. So it's growing by the day!
Belly Button: Still in, but as last posted, I expect it to "pop" any day!
Strech Marks: Same few, no worries though.
Weight Gain: -1 pound totaling 9 pounds so far. :(
Boy/Girl: Still unknown!
Feeling: I don't want to go there at the moment, I think you get the jist from what's posted above.
Cravings: NONE
Sleep: Egh, somewhat okay, sometimes not. Depends on the night.
Morning Sickness: Same, maybe a tad worse this week.
Baby: Measuring a little over 16 inches and about 3 1/2 pounds. Getting bigger everyday!
As I said before, we return in 1 week for a gall bladder ultrasound, dr appt, and blood work. I will post more as we know it!

Failed Glucose Screening
I took this dreaded, awful test on Friday and to no avail I failed! My vomiting may just punish me for the remainder of this pregnancy after that! Normal ranges are anything under 130 and mine was 146! So it was only 16 points elevated but enough to warrant having the 3 hour glucose test done. I did ask if it was something I was doing and she told me no. You are either destined to have it or you are not. Also, failing the screening does not mean you will fail the test. I am hopeful that I pass. 16 points elevated, I feel confident! Needless to say, this horror is going down on Monday! Boo, to that, but we must keep baby and momma healthy! Ps, 85 days left..........but who's counting right?!

27 weeks
We had our 27 week appointment yesterday and boy was it an exciting one! We began with an ultrasound in which during I asked our technician how people get the 4d ultrasounds and she said well we will do one! Totally cool and with Keith and I never experiencing this before in previous pregnancies, it was quite awesome to watch the baby moving around. He/she loves their face covered and is very, very active. We also asked since it's 4d can you tell if it has hair, she said yes. Well as you can see there is none showing on the photos and when we moved on to the transvaginal ultrasound, because the baby is head down, there was none shown there either. Looks like we may have a baldy or at least a very light haired baby. This would be Keith's genes in and out as he was a very large, long, bald baby! After our ultrasound, Dr. Curtain came in and said our baby is very large, very large weighing in at almost 3 pounds already and we have increased amniotic fluid surrounding the baby, which is typically a sign of gestational diabetes so we now have to hightail it to the lab to get the glucose test done. During our appointment, Dr. Ambrose again repeatedly, kept mentioning gestational diabetes and the fact that our little one is not so little. All in all though, everything is looking great and we return in two weeks. Below are the stats.....
Belly: Large, but this is almost all baby with some fluid surrounding! I keep getting comments on how large I am. Well that's because a baby doesn't typically weigh almost 3 pounds well until 33-34 weeks~!
Belly Button: Almost out, I'm expecting it to "pop" any day now!
Stretch Marks: Unfortunately, Yes. I'm not one of those vain mothers that refuses to acknowledge what childbirth and pregnancy does to a woman's body, so I'm not too upset.
Weight Gain: +5 pounds totaling 10 pounds. Yes, 5 pound increase in 3 weeks.
Boy/Girl: Owen or Avery, we have no idea! Either way he/she will be perfect!
Feeling: A lot of energy, but with a cost.....I feel winded, full, backache, and my pubic bone is taking a beating.
Cravings: Nothing too crazy, still nothing that has really thrown me for a loop.
Sleep: This department is really starting to suffer! I'm so comfortable on the couch but must sleep in bed next to Keith. He did offer to sleep on the living room floor next to me, but I won't do that to him.
Morning Sickness: Still there and going. I've come to the conclusion we will have a relationship until the baby comes.
Baby: Should be almost 2 pounds and 14 inches long. Ours is almost 3 pounds and is 16 inches long. Growing, growing, growing and I decided I'm not even wasting my time washing my preemie clothes. They will all be returned to my sister as in 2 more pounds of growth, we certainly won't be needing them!
We return to the drs in 2 weeks. We should have more updates then on our glucose screening. I'm pretty sure they will be sending me for the 3 hour test though :( that makes me unhappy, but we must keep baby safe and happy!

Enjoy these photos and video. Baby wasn't exactly cooperating as it's face down. The pictures with it's arm over it's face and it's tiny feet in his/her face is too precious!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
I know it's a few days late but we have been running around CRAZY the last few days! After countless hours spent with our families, kids going here, kids going there, and nieces coming to spend time with us our Thanksgiving was amazing! Our only disappointment was we went to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa Clause and the line was way to long for the timeframe we had to be there. We'll make it back another time for sure, we have the whole month of December! Happy Thanksgiving and happy upcoming holidays!

Baby's bedroom
I'm itching to post a picture so bad, but unfortunately "My Extreme Christmas" has taken over the bedroom! It's been the hiding and dumping zone for all Christmas presents. Good news is I have family coming in December 17th who will want to see the nursery so it must be straightened up by then! It's crazy. Can everyone believe it's already just about Thanksgiving!? I love this time of year, but it's going by so fast! Can't wait to snuggle with Keith Christmas Eve, and heck who I am I kidding every other eve too, afterall we wouldn't have this blog if we weren't doing something! Hahaha! Happy Holidays!

24 Week appt.
We went to the drs. today for an exam and everything went well except my lack of weight gain. Dr. Curtain did schedule me for an ultrasound this week due to me experiencing a lot of pressure and since preterm labor is a factor he just wants to be safe. We return to the drs in 3 weeks providing we are not needing to go in before that as an emergency. Keith said on Saturday he had his first "Oh my goodness, what if she goes into labor moment" He was 4 wheeling in Breezewood all day with my brother and his brother and cell service is one of the many things they DON'T have there! I assured him since I booked his birthday gift to that place, I have the number in my cell contacts and would have called. So we are hitting the point as the third trimester is right around the corner and so is the date the Dr is 70% we can make it too we are all just staying on our toes! I'm personally hoping for a little love bug maybe around Valentine's! That would be around 38 weeks! One can wish right!

Almost 21 weeks
We went into the Dr.s today for a very quick checkup. They measured my belly and uterus and all is measuring just fine. I gained 3 pounds in 10 days!!! They also finished up with a listen of the baby's heartbeat, coming in at the 140's. All in all a good bill of health and we return in two weeks!
Belly - Growing by the day, and I mean by the day!
Weight Gain - +6 pounds total so far!
Boy/Girl - Still feeling girl. I had an elderly woman I didn't even know come up to me Saturday and said "Are you having a girl?" Of course, I replied "We don't know what we are having." I guess we'll see!
Feeling - With the exception of using the potty every 6 1/2 minutes and a backache towards the end of the day, I feel fantastic. No other pregnancy symptoms that I can think of.
Sleep - Like a baby, enough said. Occasionally a few mornings I get up early than I like but that's okay!
Cravings - None really and quite frankly, I feel ripped off! I want to think about crazy food combinations!
Morning Sickness - Still under control, thanks to Keith. However, we did a small test run and it is still there. So I have and will remain on Zofran every morning at 5:30 to save my life!

19 Week Appt
We had our anatomy ultrasound today and another check up. Our ultrasound took almost 2 hours because our baby likes to move constantly! They finally got all the measurements and photos needed and again moved on to the gender of the baby. We were asked to turn our heads so that we didn't see! We were informed that our little baby isn't so little weighing in at few ounces under a pound. He/she is in the 65th percentile for weight. The Drs. informed us this is great news, considering my preterm labor factor. My medication to not go into labor arrived via UPS yesterday so Keith was shown today how to administer it. It is a intramuscular injection and he all but chickened out. He did it successfully and will continue to do so weekly up until 36 weeks. Poor Keith, good news is at the max only 17 more to go! The Drs. stressed again to us our goal and magic number is 34 weeks. I would feel more comfortable at about 36 weeks, but only time will tell. Good news is so far everything looks great and my cervix is about 4 1/2 centimeters long.
I did gain 3 pounds which the Drs. were very happy with. We do go back in ten days to make sure everything is okay. Not exactly sure why we are returning so quickly. I am also certain we will be returning then 3 weeks after that appt. Yes, we pretty much live at the Hershey Medical Center! All in all, baby is developing beautifully, bouncing and moving all around, I have felt movement. Keith has not yet feel it. According to the Drs. it should only be a matter of days until he feels it! Our nursery progress is really coming along more photos of that to be posted soon!
- At 16 to 20 weeks, normal cervical length is 4.0 to 4.5 cm
- At 24 to 28 weeks, normal cervical length is 3.5 to 4.0 cm
- At 32 to 36 weeks, normal cervical length is 3.0 to 3.5 cm

Dear Baby,
Dear Avery or Owen,
Your big brother Brock is so excited for your arrival, he is trying to be a helper whenever he can. Last night he helped your daddy paint your room. With the exception of wanting to paint the room blue and yellow he did a fantastic job. I'm sure you and him won't always get along, but he will always love you! He is going to be the best big brother ever and I'm sure you will be a fantastic little brother or sister!
Love,
Your mommy

First Coat of Paint!
We settled on a Sherwin Williams paint called Beach House. We weren't bold enough to go with a green, blue, or coral. So a subtle sand color will match perfectly! We are undecided yet if it will need 2 coats or if 1 will be enough.
And the carpet has been torn out!
Closet view
Not sure if it's my camera or the lighting, but the color isn't really appearing that well. Also maybe because it's still wet. I'll try it with Keith's camera.
Baby nursery before
We started in the nursery this weekend and really have made some progress. The work we did consisted of spackling walls, removing old trim, adding new trim and baseboard, painting, new closet door tracking, new caulking, and light dimmers. Here is a photo of after Keith ripped the old baseboard off.
Not sure what's going on with this photo. But you get the idea!
The only thing we didn't buy yet was a matching door knob that goes with the rest of the house. Pictures to follow of our finished nursery. I am so excited!

Look Up
In approximately 150 days we will have a BABY! I remember when this was well over 200 days way back at 8 weeks. Times a ticking! I'm hoping to get a few nursery photos this weekend. You all know this is relying on my fabulous, handsome, extremely talented other half, Keith. I love you honey! I'm trying to tell him if he gets that room painted I can go forward. The paint has been picked, the carpet has been picked, there is new trim going up, and new blinds were put up. So hopefully, fingers crossed, he makes it to that room this weekend. I'm dying to snap some pictures, but trust me, none of you want to see it right now! Lately, Brock can be found in there playing with baby items, occasionally sitting in the swing or bouncer. Hey, he's going to be a big brother and needs to test them first! I don't know about you guys, but I am getting super excited about my 150 day wait. I can't wait to see who this baby looks like and boy or girl. The only thing saving me is my over the top love for Christmas.

17 Week Appt
We have made it to 17 weeks and everything is progressing beautifully! We had an ultrasound and consult with Maternal Fetal Medicine this morning. The ultrasound went well AND NO WE DID NOT FIND OUT WHAT WE ARE HAVING! Our consult went well also. Our new high risk dr, Dr. Curtain has decided the goal for pregnancy is 34 weeks and I have about a 70% chance of getting to that. I do begin 17 hydroxy progesterone in two weeks to prevent preterm labor. This medicine is giving intramuscular via a weekly shot! Yuck! Keith unfortunately is going to be giving me these shots and I don't think he is thrilled by this. He has decided to see us back in 2 weeks where we will have a transvaginal ultrasound to check my cervix and the normal belly ultrasound. Today the baby's head was jammed right up against my cervix, in the exact position you would want a baby to be in around 38-40 weeks. The baby is measuring right on time so despite my lack of weight gain all is fairing out well! Our appointments will remain just about the same, averaging about every 2 weeks. I will be posting the ultrasound photos on another post so stay tuned!
Belly - Getting rounder, not so much bigger.
Weight Gain - Non existent, :( I'm under where I started at my 7 week appointment. Hopefully, I start gaining some soon.
Boy/Girl - Still saying girl, but Keith this week has begun calling it "him"
Feeling - Pretty good, some back aches here and there. But feeling pretty good and have a decent amount of energy.
Sleep - Same as before, no real changes there.
Cravings - None really this week. This is really beginning to bother me. I want to eat!!
Morning Sickness - We actually have this under control by Keith giving me medicine when he awakes in the morning. I haven't vomited since Sunday morning.....however, due to some insurance crap and changes I am now limited to 12 pills a month, YIKES! Not sure how this is going to pan out. And needless to say I'm not very happy. Hopefully like all the books say, this should end by 20 weeks!

16 weeks
Can you believe tomorrow starts a countdown of 23 weeks and 6 days?! I know I can't! The time is seriously whizzing by and sometimes I feel rushed but other times I feel like we are doing okay! I'm going to try and get Keith to take a belly shot to add to the blog. I'm typically not to into belly photos but maybe a few will be alright! We go to high risk Maternal Fetal Medicine next Thursday. We get a sizing ultrasound and our routine appointment so I don't have any medical news to report.
Belly- Getting bigger everyday. Seems to be rising up too, if that makes any sense.
Weight Gain- Unsure since I haven't been to the Dr in two weeks, however I don't think I lost but I don't think I gained either. I am actually wishing I would gain some weight. I am 3 pounds I believe from where I started and should have gained about 10 by now.
Boy/Girl- Doesn't matter to me! But I still feel girl, although every now and then I question myself, I should stick to my gut instincts!
Cravings- Ice, apples, clemintines and unfortunately that's about it. The clemintines don't always agree with me but I always go back for more!
Sleep- That's an iffy one, depends on the night. Some nights are good, some nights not so much!
Morning sickness- I am still getting sick daily. If it stays to daily I'm thankful, however some days it's 5 times some days it's 25 times (no kidding) when it gets that bad we typically head into the ER for fluids. Yesterday wasn't to bad at around 4-6 times. But I really have had about enough of it and I'm sick of feelling nausea all day long. Thank goodness for me time is flying by!

The baby has been named!
Keith and I have settled on definate first names for the baby. We have middle names but we are not set in stone for those. If baby is a girl it will be Avery and if baby is a boy it will be Owen. Our thoughts right now are Avery Lane Nye or Avery Lynn Nye. Boy thoughts are Owen Keith Nye. Can't wait until (actually I can wait we have far too much to do yet to start that waiting game) delivery day to see what we have been blessed with. All of us are still thinking girl, but there's always a possibility of a boy! Regardless, Avery or Owen will be an absolute to joy to all of our live's!

Emergency Room part two
Unfortunately, we had to make another visit to Hershey ER for more fluids Saturday evening. We were in and out in under 2 hours! They treated me with a bag of fluids and some anti nausea medicine and voila feeling awesome! The awesome feeling continued on into Sunday. Hoping Monday is great as well. They did an ultrasound of baby and right before the Dr started he said "do you know what you are having yet?" We said "no, we are not finding out." He said "Ok, then I won't tell you!" In any event, the baby was proudly waving and dancing around. The Dr announced for the "third time" we have quite an active one. I do have an emergency room follow up on Monday.

Emergency Room
As my previous post states, my morning sickness has taken a vicious kick into all day sickness. Needless to say when everything comes up, fluids must go in. So on September 7th (Wednesday) we headed into Hershey's Emergency Room and sure enough as my doctor suspected I was dehydrated. So they loaded me up with fluids and iv anti-nausea medicine. I felt great shortly after, managed dinner Wednesday night, had an awesome day Thursday, and on Friday (today) I only got sick once. Hoping for the best! I finally had a few cravings which is totally awesome, feels great to finally be hungry. The cravings are Apples and Utz natural chip medley! I seriously can't get enough of either!

Spoke to soon.....
Yes, I believe I spoke to soon regarding the morning sickness. At this point it's all day and night sickness even while I sleep. Holy Hannah, it's been awful! It's Friday at 3:00 and I stopped counting at 11 times so far. I've taken my medicine and absolutely no relief. I sure hope this lifts soon. I'm not sure how much more I can take. Not only is it affecting me, but if you are in the bathroom, I barge right in. If you're in the kitchen fixing something to eat and I smell it, to the garbage can I go. I felt bad for Keith Thursday morning as he was making his breakfast I was getting sick next to him in the sink. Thank goodness he is a super supporting, fabulous man who always tries to give me a hand and make me feel better. It's got to get better right! I want to crave food at random hours of the night like my other pregnant friends!!! Soon, I keep telling myself, soon!

Valance is done!
I've begun making the baby bedding. I started with the valance and well that is the only thing I have done! At this rate, it will take me until the baby arrives! My back is burning and I believe I did the quickest piece! No pain no gain right?! Enjoy! P.S. It is bigger, the ends are folded under to fit in the picture ;-)

12 Week Appointment
Hello second trimester, good bye first trimester nausea and morning sickness! Yes, I said it! The constant vomiting and general feeling of awfulness has left the building! We had our appointment yesterday and it was that final added sense of security that everything truely is okay! Yesterday was also extra special as we heard the heartbeat and had an ultrasound and got to see our little baby kicking and jumping all around! So exciting! I just noticed the ticker......under 200 days now!!!
Stats:
Belly: Definetly noticable now! I am wearing almost all maternity clothes as they are more comfortable.
Weight Gain: Up two pounds!
Boy/Girl: I am still saying girl, especially based on the heartbeat it was in the 170s!
Feeling: A lot less sick, I am assuming it's on it's way to gone, because I am not taking the medicines everyday. Only as needed now which isn't to often! I am however feeling pregnant, and noticing my belly occasionally in the way! Sleep is good at the moment and the feeling of being so tired all of the time isn't so prominent anymore!
Cravings: Candy! Other than that not really craving anything. I am enjoying twizzlers though!
Enjoy the photo, again it's not the best since it was taken in office for us. We go for an official ultrasound around 16 weeks. We are not finding out the sex though at that time. We both want to be surprised!
Baby Clothes
Keith and I recently went down to the camper for the weekend, on the way home we hit emence amounts of traffic and needed a walk around break. So we stopped in Wilmington at a local mall and picked out these three items. 1 outfit, 1 sleeper, and 1 sleeping bag. I love the bags, then you don't have to put blankets on them at night! It is full baby mode in our house now! I can't wait to add more to our little bundle's wardrobe!
Nursery Bedding
We have decided to embrace the beach theme for this baby. We found this fitting due to our frequent beach trips and we both have such a love for the beach! I have not purchased the white and tan fabric yet. I am making all of bedding with the exception of maybe the crib sheets, I am thinking right now on tan, white, maybe a light green for the crib sheets to go with the bedding. I have decided on the quilt, curtains, and cribskirt. The bumper pattern I have NOT settled on a decision! Call me crazy but at 12 weeks, Yes I am feeling rushed to get it done. Sewing takes a lot of time and I have a history of pre term labor. If I have pre term labor with this one, I will not be home to get sewing done. So my goal is to have this all completed by Christmas time! Christmas time would put me at 30 weeks and frankly anything after that is really a milestone for me as far as carrying babies. So yes I am nervous and feeling rushed! But I know me and I know I can get this done! More pictures to come as I complete the bedding. PS I love this fabric! It's so neutral which is perfect since we are NOT finding out what we are having! Although, I'm positive it's a girl!

~10 Weeks~
I am officially 10 weeks today, part of me can't believe it's been that long already and another part of me is wanting it to be over already! I have I swear the official worst case of morning (all day) sickness a person can have! I now am on 4 prescriptions to try and curb the morning sickness. They are Zofran, Vitamin B6 to be used in conjunction with Unisom (yes a sleep aid, not sure how or why that helps) and Pepcid for my throat being so raw from vomiting so much. Unfortunately, with all of this, I am still not feeling much relief. As abnormal as this sounds, my Dr.s assure me that although it's not every pregnancy, it's not uncommon to be this sick! I am keeping my fingers crossed that with the first trimester coming to an end, so does the morning sickness. A girl can wish right!!
Stats:
Belly: A small bump! Getting to the point that my clothes, especially pants are not quite big enough anymore!
Weight Gain: Lost another pound, but the Dr says not to worry, as long as I gain it back in the second trimester.
Boy/Girl: Still saying girl, only one person has said boy!
Feeling: The fullness feeling has went away, but I am still feeling ill almost most of the day, usually in the evening I feel a little better. I'm not kidding when I say this is about 20 hours of the day!
Cravings: Nothing at all. If anything I have food aversions like crazy!
Despite all of this, I am still in good spirits! I am very excited for this precious bundle and trying to keep my mind on that! With school starting in just two weeks we have been very busy school shopping, kindegarten orientations, and trying to get down a sleeping school schedule for Mr. Brock who is still up several times per night! Our goal for Brock is on Sunday evening offer him 5 1 dollar bills. If he sleeps in his bed all night Sunday night thru Thursday night (School nights) he gets to keep the money and buy a treat. If he doesn't sleep all night, on a particular night he has to pay the money back 1 dollar per night! Very hopeful that this will work! Think of our little guys (Kasey and Brock) as they start their first day of Kindegarten August 29th! Both PM!
Stay tuned~

Putting my mind at ease!
I called into my Doctor's office this am with some questions, upon the nurse calling back she scheduled me to come in today. I loved the Midwife I met with and she answered all of my questions. She did another ultrasound and measured the heartbeat which was coming in around 140 beats per minute. She said everything was progressing beautifully. Next appointment, genetic counseling, and ultrasound are August 25th. Stay tuned!!!!

Comments
I changed some of the settings around as I was informed no one could leave comments. I was able to post a comment under "anonymous." Maybe everyone could select this feature then leave their name under the comment? Enjoy everyone and please keep the feedback coming so I can "try" and fix it!

Squirrel head?????
We told Brock about the pregnancy and showed him the photo of the ultrasound. His response "Is that a squirrel head?" Of all things the picture could be mistaken for maybe the moon, or underwater, space you get the point, his response is, Is that a squirrel head? Lol, the imagination of a 5 year old boy! He has told us that he would like a sister. Hopefully our little fetus holds up to it's end of the deal or we could have a dissappointed little boy! Either way, I'm sure he'll love it the same!

First Dr. appointment/ultrasound
We went to the Dr.s on Friday and has this in office ultrasound photo taken. Everything is progressing well, including my morning sickness which I was prescribed Zofran to try and curb. I am measuring about 5 days behind which at this point is essentially perfect. We go back in 5 weeks which will put me at 12 weeks or so! I also go for an "official ultrasound" somewhere between 10-12 weeks for the first trimester genetic screening. We opted for this strictly to see the baby during the ultrasound. Apologies for the super crooked photo! The baby is small circle within the black circle.
Stats:
Belly: Not too much of a bump, mostly bloat that is unable to be sucked in :(
Weight Gain: Down 3 pounds, this is normal for the first trimester.
Boy/Girl: Never to early to start this guessing game, we have a 50% shot either way, right now we're saying girl due to the massive morning sickness and nausea.
Feeling: Very ill, not sleeping so well, and very full!
Cravings: Nothing in the last two weeks, actually it's been a chore to even eat.
All in all, I am feeling the full effect of First Trimester Pregnancy, hopefully this calms in the next few weeks! Very excited to get our news out and begin our long 32 weeks and a few days wait!

It's official!
A baby! Yes, Keith and I are expecting a baby! We suspected that maybe I was pregnant so on July 5th, 2011 I took a test and it was indeed positive. Then on July 7th, 2011 I took a second test which was positive as well. We are very excited and couldn't be happier! The stats as of now look like this.....
I am 5 weeks 4 days so still a long way to go.
Due date right now looks like on or around March 09, 2012.
Me, feeling very bloated, tired, and can't sleep.
Keith, worried!
Kids, they do not know yet!
We go to the doctor's July 14th and July 21st. We will post updates at that time!
